How Boily works on MakeShop

Head and body tag API

MakeShop lets apps insert tags into the head and body of storefront pages server-side. Boily uses this for structured data and its tracker.

Product description fields

The direct answer, FAQ and specs go into a marked block in the product description fields, with backup and rollback.

Feeds

Hosted product feeds for Google and Microsoft Merchant Center, in Japanese.

Built on the Boily engine

The same measurement engine Boily runs for clinics in Korea — frozen questions, pinned models, a rank-weighted score — adapted to product pages.

What you do once

  1. 1Install the app from the MakeShop app store and pick your products.
  2. 2Add the feed URL in Google Merchant Center and Microsoft Merchant Center.
  3. 3Verify your store in Bing Webmaster Tools.

Per tracked product, per language

Each extra language: same price again

Billed in yen through MakeShop's app payment (its free-amount billing API) and shown with your MakeShop charges.

Limitations, stated plainly

  • Not available yet. Leave your email to hear when it is.
  • We'll confirm during MakeShop's developer review that description fields keep our HTML intact and that head tags allow structured data.
